RELAY RECRUITMENT
SCOOPS TOP HONOURS
February 1999
Relay Recruitment has beaten off stiff competition from over 800 companies nationwide to win the prestigious Royal Mail Winning Post competition – a challenge that celebrates the cream of the crop in innovative, effective direct marketing techniques.

Bradford-based Relay won the ‘Most Imaginative Mailshot’ category for last year’s clever and successful Summer photo mailer.

The accolade was presented at a glittering award ceremony at the Hyatt hotel in Knightsbridge. Relay had secured its place in the national finals after winning in the Yorkshire regional heats.

The latest achievement caps a successful start to Relay’s year. The company recently became the first Bradford recruitment consultancy to achieve Investors in People status and is preparing to open Leeds offices.

Managing director, Steven Street, says, “This has already been a fantastic year for us, and to win a national award at our first attempt is outstanding. As the recruitment industry is so well evolved and highly competitive, a highly creative approach is demanded to maintain competitive edge.

“I believe that our successes are directly attributable to adopting a marketing strategy that puts innovation at the heart of our communications with clients.”
