RELAY PUTS CLIENTS BEFORE THE KART!

High-octane adrenalin was in the air as clients of Relay Recruitment whizzed round the racetrack at the company’s Annual Grand Prix, held at Bradford's Pole Position go-karting stadium.
Clients representing Pace, Grattan and Filtronic, among others, lined up with Relay staff, all keen to put the pedal to the metal.

The individual knockout competition was fiercely contested, with the eventual winner being David Lord from Pace micro Communication. Despite the intensity of the contest, though, there was a remarkable absence of ‘track rage’.
Relay managing director, Steven Street said, “The Annual Grand Prix has always provided an excellent opportunity for staff to continue building a rapport with our client contacts. We are particularly pleased with this year’s turnout, which attracted over 60 drivers from 42 companies, reflecting the diversity and depth of our customer base.
“The competitive nature of the challenge was a superb leveller. As the red mist descends, the client/supplier relationship soon dissipates – until the next day that is!”
