Relay Recruitments grass roots sports sponsorship programme has clocked up its 50th beneficiary, Queensbury Celtic AFC, outside Bradford.

The company presented the under 13s team with new Training Coats for coaching sessions and pre-match warm ups. Like many amateur clubs today, Queensbury Celtic, which competes in the Craven League, is totally reliant on donations.
Manager, Peter Walsh, says, Our biggest problem is attracting the supply of quality, uniform kit. It is vital for morale that all the lads are similarly and smartly turned out, as well as being protected from the winter weather.
Relays youth support drive has helped a diversity of young sportsmen and women in recent years. It takes the form of kit and equipment purchase; financial donations; help with team transport and assistance for individuals.
Says Managing Director, Steven Street, Backing youngsters in this way should not just be the preserve of the big corporations. Smaller groups must recognise their civic responsibilities and get involved as well. Whether it helps kids get the most out of a healthy pursuit, or even keeps a potential star in the sport they excel at, its worthwhile.
